My Baked Queens Cakes with Icing sprinkles |
This recipe has become my personal favourite, it’s extremely quick to bake, and takes on average 30 – 40min prep and bake time. For those quick and no time to spare moments where you have to prepare eats for your guests, you can totally trust this recipe to be a hit. I, myself, have baked this a couple of times for my family and they absolutely love it. So anyway, in the spirit of baking I want to share this recipe with you guys, it makes in total 36 pieces and let me tell you something, they won’t last a day because they’ll be that GOOOOOOOD! You will need very basic ingredients which I can bet you have in your cupboard and/or fridge.
Okay, now enough of sugar coating, let me get to the real details….the Ingredients… 🙂
Ingredients
- 3 Cups All purpose flour
- 4 Teaspoons of Baking Powder
- 4 Large Eggs
- 1 Teaspoon Salt
- 1 and 1/2 Cup Milk
- 1 and 1/2 Cup Sugar – I used just 1 cup and they were just as nice
- 2 Teaspoon Vanilla Essence
- 3/4 Cup Baking Butter
Method
First Sift (if you prefer) all purpose flour, baking powder, and salt together in one bowl and set aside. In a separate bowl, lightly beat the 4 eggs, add sugar and mix, then add baking butter and continue to mix. Add your milk and vanilla essence and mix. It’ll look weird but don worry, it’s OKAY, I promise. Pour the weird looking egg mixture into your flour mixture that you set aside earlier. Mix them together and be sure it’s all combined. Then take your well greased cupcake pan and divide the batter in it using 1 spoonful at a time. Bake for 25- 30min. When they come out the oven, let them cool for 5min and you’ll be ready to serve your guests. For a visual guide, see video below:
